When things don't happen...
Do you wonder why some things just don't happen when you would like them to and how you would like them to ?
Sometimes this can happen so regularly that we can feel a little picked on. This could bring self-searching questions like why is this not happening for me, maybe I'm just not meant to do this, am I trying too hard ? We may wonder if we should just give-up.
Remember that old saying - ' the best-laid plans of mice and men can often go awry ' ? Maybe you have organized an event or party, sent out the invitations and hardly anyone turns up. Maybe you have arranged an important business meeting to sort out a problem or plan the week ahead, people are there but their brains are not in gear. So we could be thinking that maybe it's just not the right time to do this.
This IS the answer ! It's all a matter of timing - literally. Moon-time. The moon influences the energy of whatever we do. She travels through each sign of the zodiac within her 28 day cycles around the earth, so every couple of days or so her energy changes, shifting and shaping the ways of how we express ourselves at a soul level. The moon’s nurturing, feeling and emotional energy is influenced by the energy of the sign it is in, and this sign’s ruling planet. This explains why we may feel down and out for a while and then find renewed ambition or harmony for no apparent reason. If we are aware of the general mood of the population for the day, we shouldn’t be surprised by the success of activities that are agreeable to the moon’s energy. There are also opposite results for activities in opposition to the moon’s current energy. For example it wouldn’t be beneficial to arrange a board meeting to settle a dispute, or address relationship issues if the moon is in Aries and everyone has an energy boost in the direction of what they want ! So in effect, by being aware of which sign the moon is present in and what this generally means, we have the opportunity to bring harmony into all affairs within our life – remember each of the twelve areas of our life becomes apparent and demands attention for a couple of days each month.
When the moon has finished passing through one sign and is ready to move into the next sign, there could be a period of time where she doesn't have any particular interaction with a planet. So what does this mean ? What kind of energy does she reflect on us while she's in-between signs ? NONE - The moon is literally energetically 'void' of direction. If she is the director of our emotions and reasoning, she's having a holiday because no planet is influencing her. The moon's energy appears to be stalled before entering the next sign - this is when the moon is said to be 'void of course' and can last from several minutes to more than a day. While our mother moon is void of course there is no particular energy to assert our reasoning with, and we could feel disconnected or scattered. This means that whatever action we may take in life could have less impact, and could need to be done again. The ancient astrologers firmly believed that anything initiated during the void of course - ‘nothing will come of it’. Delays and confusion can also result.
Well, doesn't this explain a lot ??
So, for a varying period of time every couple of days we run the risk of acting on something important - at the wrong time !
If you are planning a first date or important function, starting a business or applying for a job, emailing or posting important letters, making an important purchase or placing an advertisement, putting your house on the market etc. - it may be best to wait until the moon is not void of course. I have been observing all this within my own life over the past couple of years, re-proving the theory so many times that I would consider myself unwise to ignore it. Often we need to know of these times in advance to plan business and personal events as well as day-to-day activities. Heavenly Timing Calendar displays all of these periods of time for the year, and other useful easy-to-read information to help increase your personal and business success.
With this knowledge we can remove the 'grey area' from our decisions.
